Dr. David M. Doran is the senior pastor of the Inter-City Baptist Church of Allen Park, Michigan, and the president of the Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Doran also serves as Chairman of the Practical Theology Department and is responsible for teaching the core pastoral theology courses in the Master of Divinity program (Philosophy of Church Ministry, Ministry Management, Homiletics 1 and 2). He received his education at Bob Jones University, (BA), Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv, ThM) and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (DMin). Dr. Doran has published articles in Frontline, Today’s Christian Preacher, The Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary Journal, and authored a book on missions entitled For the Sake of His Name.
Dave and his wife, Claudia, have four adult children and eleven grandchildren.
