Bud Steadman served as Executive Director of Baptist World Mission from 2009 until April 1, 2023, after which he began a full-time itinerant role as Missions Mentor, assisting churches and missionaries through preaching, counsel, and program development. Previously, he pastored Community Baptist Church in South Bend, Indiana, for thirteen years.
Converted at age ten and called to preach at fifteen, he earned degrees from Bob Jones University and received an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Ambassador Baptist College. His ministry includes youth pastorates, church planting, missions travel, board service, and extensive conference speaking. Married to Ruth Ann since 1975, they have three children and six grandchildren.
